Her music interwoven with the sound of the ocean and light chatter of the forest nocturnes was truly medicine for the soul. There were so many lines in her songs that struck such a profound chord and gave me sustained goosebumps. Part of me wished I had had my notebook with me to write those down but the other part of me was so happy to be locked into the present with her. I have honestly never read or listened to anyone with her depth of wisdom and beauty. Virago is one of a kind; that’s undeniable, an incredible rock and roll medicine woman! She is a rare poet with a musical pen. Her words are the words the world needs right now, and her voice has the power to shift the narrative. Dear Loved Ones, you are cordially invited to celebrate the belated birthday of Virago in a very special event of music, dance, celebration and community! Virago will be performing a very special intimate selection of all original songs, in celebration of over a decade of her lifetime in songwriting. After this special transmission of shamanic rock-and-roll and galactic folk, we will be moving into a sonically sacred dance party with a divine DJ set by Deluxi, along with some special collaborative surprises! This celebration is open to any and all beautiful souls who feel called to attend. Your presence is a gift.
